2022 - 2023 Johnson Elementary School - School Unified Improvement Plan

Each year, Johnson's School Unified Improvement Plan (SUIP) is developed through collaboration with our School Accountability and Advisory Committee, our Shared Leadership Team, and our whole staff. Our SUIP outlines the steps we are taking or will take towards continuous school improvement. Our SUIP is then posted the the state website where it becomes a public document. 

In alignment with our district foci, we have two major improvement strategies. Our first improvement strategy is continuing our work in literacy with the study and implementation of the Science of Reading as well as deepening our understanding of Poudre School District’s structured literacy. Our second major improvement strategy targets student belonging and well being with improving our system of response for social emotional learning and behavioral needs. Our staff are engaged in being a responsive school system.
