Johnson Elementary School

Preparing today's child for tomorrow's world

Johnson PTO

The Johnson Parent-Teacher Organization focuses on the welfare and education of all students at Johnson Elementary School. This group serves as an open public forum and represents Johnson Elementary within the Poudre School District, facilitates communication among Johnson committees, offers direction for fund-raising, approves expenditures, and promotes parental involvement.

Did you know the Johnson Parent Teacher Organization funds over $67 per student for opportunities such as field trips, technology resources, classroom aids, educational assemblies, outdoor equipment, and Family Fun nights? Funds are also used to support each of our teachers – including specials, Gifted and Talented, English Language Arts, Response to Intervention, Integrated Services and Positive Behavior Intervention Support programs – by providing a yearly stipend for discretionary classroom spending, plus funding for approved special requests for specific classroom needs – and so much more!

Our monthly meetings are scheduled on the last Monday of each month from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the media center. We invite any and all interested parents to attend. Together we are working to make our school the best in Fort Collins.  Once we have minutes for each meeting, they will be posted under the date. You can click on the date to read through the minutes.
