Get ready to unleash your inner superhero or spooky specter - dress up for our Fall Festivities is a total go! Kids, pack those costumes in your backpacks and save the transformation magic for later in the day. No wearing them to school, though! And let’s make sure your little pumpkin can slip into their costume solo!
Now here’s the costume checklist according to the Poudre School District’s dress code (you can find it right here!) No weapons, no blood and guts, no full-face masks, and definitely no inflatable monstrosities!
Our parade begins at 2:30pm. To view the parade, families may go to the gym or watch it outside.
We are excited to invite you to our second annual Trunk or Treat event on October 24th!

Johnson students and families from the surrounding community are welcome to join in on the fun. We have 45 spots available for families to decorate their trunks and hand out candy or goodies to trick-or-treaters.
Details:
- Event Time: 5:00pm - 6:00pm (Trick or Treating)
- Car Set-Up: Please be ready for trick or treaters by 4:45pm and plan to keep your vehicle stationary for the duration of the event.
- Best Decorated Trunk Contest: A panel of judges will choose the best-decorated trunk, and the winner will receive a much-needed coffee gift card!
How to Participate:
- Sign up for a spot by October 20th
- Please provide nut-free candy or non-food treats for the safety of all students.
- Get creative with your trunk decoration—spooky, fun, or anything in between!
We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate your participation in making this a memorable event for the kids!
After trick-or-treating, check out the Book Fair and stick around for family Movie Night! Doors open at 6:15 PM.
We now have a partnership with TREE MACHINE through the company USAGAIN (Use it Again). We have conveniently located a place for you to donate your gently used clothing, household textiles (sheets, towels, table linens), and shoes for recycling. In this way, we are giving back to the earth. For each filled bin, TREE MACHINE will plant a tree. Currently, they are planting trees in Africa.
We are excited for this partnership as each pound of recycled good, the school receives a donation. Please spread the word about this convenient way to get rid of clutter and unused items from your home and give back to your school as well as our environment.
