Preparing Today's Child for Tomorrow's World

Preparing Today's Child for Tomorrow's World

Preschool

We have two preschool classrooms at Johnson. One room is a full day classroom, and the other room has two half day sessions. The licensed teachers partner with families to offer services specific to each child. We believe that the environment is the third teacher and provide enriched classroom and outdoor environments for the children to engage in play with materials to support their natural curiosity. It is through this play and experimentation that the children gain skills. Our learning environments help our young children become emotionally strong, skilled, and ready for kindergarten. Our ratio is 1:8, with a classroom group size that does not exceed 16.

We partner with a variety of specialists in the school including a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Physical Therapist, a Music Therapist and other staff as needed to support the children in the program.

The program may be no-cost and/or tuition-based. Children must be school age 3 years old (2 years prior to Kindergarten) and 4 years old (the year prior to Kindergarten). Must be 3 years old by Oct 1 of the enrolling year. Children with Integrated Services may enroll upon their 3rd birthday.
