Here’s how you can get started:
- Sign up on our school’s Kids Heart Challenge Page
- Download the app
- Get started on Finn’s Lifesaving Mission!
We’re excited to share that our school has some fun ways to celebrate our impact! Every student who raises $50 will qualify to purchase discounted tickets and get a special ON COURT experience with the Denver Nuggets! Don’t forget to complete Finn’s Mission to earn your own Heart Hero Cape! The class that registers the most students online will get a glow in the dark party! When Students raise $150, they will get to pie Miss Kaiser in the face and students who raise $200 get to pie a mystery guest!!
All donations will be done online - cash/checks will NOT be accepted.
5210+
Every student has received a yellow tracking log for the 5210+ challenge to keep at home and track their healthy habits. Each day, students are trying to check off the goals of 5 servings of fruit or veggies, 2 hours or less of screen time, 1 hour of physical activity, 0 sugary drinks, plus (+) 9 or more hours of sleep every night. At the end of the month, check marks are totaled up and submitted online using the link at the bottom of the page. If students earn 80 checks, they get a 5210+ t-shirt! No matter how many checks students collect, even if it is just a few, please make sure to submit logs the first week of March - The more submissions, the better chance of Johnson earning some money!
We now have a partnership with TREE MACHINE through the company USAGAIN (Use it Again). We have conveniently located a place for you to donate your gently used clothing, household textiles (sheets, towels, table linens), and shoes for recycling. In this way, we are giving back to the earth. For each filled bin, TREE MACHINE will plant a tree. Currently, they are planting trees in Africa.
We are excited for this partnership as each pound of recycled good, the school receives a donation. Please spread the word about this convenient way to get rid of clutter and unused items from your home and give back to your school as well as our environment.
