Hello! My name is Jawan Barnes aka Mr. Barnes, and I am so excited to be returning for my second year at Johnson Elementary as a Paraprofessional II in Integrated Services.

Assisting others with their activities of daily living is a true passion of mine, and I find immense fulfillment in supporting our students every single day. My goal is to ensure every child in our program feels , cared for, and ready to succeed.

Outside of the classroom, I love traveling and spending quality time with my partner, Robby. Above all, I cherish every moment we get to spend with our three wonderful grandchildren, Bralynn Michael, Alice Grey and Ronni Fay. 

I am looking forward to an amazing and impactful school year ahead with our wonderful Johnson Elementary family!
