Biographical Sketch: 

Although I grew up in Northern Colorado (Loveland), after my high school days I moved away to study in New York City. I then pursued opportunities to live overseas in England and also Japan, where I worked as a community youth organizer and as a teacher at various schools over a 20 year period. Over the past 14 years, I have served in Thompson School District and Poudre School District as a Program Specialist and Dean of Students. I have also been an Athletic Director and a Performance Arts Director during my career in education.

Associates in Theater Studies: American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC, NY

B.S. Communication: Colorado State University (Global Campus)

M.S. Teaching and Learning: Colorado State University

Why I enjoy being an Educator?: 

I get to be a part of the one profession that creates all other professions!

Interest & Hobbies: 

I enjoy playing and watching sports, hiking in the mountains, and telling and listening to a good story.  

What I like most about my school?

1. I like that Johnson students are friendly and funny, and that they show Husky PRIDE!

2. I like that the Johnson community is thoughtful and supportive.

3. I like that Johnson staff is so dedicated and easy to work with.
